#556 BMD SOLUBLE POWDER - 4.1 OZ.

A water-soluble sodium salt of the antibiotic Bacitracin Methylene Disalicylate, with a carrier and an anti-caking agent, for the immediate treatment of important enteric diseases of Pigeon, Quail, Poultry, Swine and Turkeys.

Adminitster in the drinking water; no withdrawal period.

Indications:

• Pigeons: This water soluble powder is used to stop diarrhea. You can also treat Necrotic Enteritis which may be treated with BMD for long periods of time but is suggested for a minimum of 7-10 days or until symptoms persist. Enteritis is an inflammation of the intestinal tract. Give one teaspoon to a gallon of drinking water. Take all other sources of water away.  
• Broiler and Replacement Chickens: As an aid in the prevention and control of necrotic enteritis caused by Clostridium perfringens.
• Growing Quail: For the prevention of ulcerative enteritis caused by Clostridium colinum.
• Swine: Can be used in the treatment of swine dysentery (bloody scours) associated with Treponema hyodyseteriae (not for swine weighing more than 250 lbs).
• Growing Turkeys: As an aid in the control of transmissible enteritis (blue comb, mud fever) complicated by organisms susceptible to bacitracin methylene Disalicylate. (See label for instructions on animals other than pigeons.)

Contains 51.2 grams bacitracin activity from bacitracin methylene Disalicylate equivalent to 200 grams bacitracin activity per pound or 18,520 units bacitracin per gram.
