Tried & liked
I used to feed the Kaytee if I was doing any hand fed ones, but I noticed they grew a lot slower on it, & even stayed on the smaller side as adults. I tried this formula between when It was needed & the squabs were switched to seed. It seemed to me that they did better on it. As mentioned in another review, it does have little pieces of grit in it that will occasionally stick in the syringe. Overall a good product to have on hand for when you need it for either a baby, or even an adult that is having difficulty that you want to try saving. Dry can be stored in the freezer to extend shelf life.

Squab formula
This squab formula is great for those times parents just can’t or won’t keep up with it or other unforeseen reasons. This is great stuff for helping inexperienced parents feed the squab or if you prefer hand raising them! It definitely keeps your squab nice and plump as they should. Normally if there’s any grit in the formula you don’t notice it but the last 2 batches have had a pretty thick helping of grit big enough for it not to want let the syringe draw or push the formula. So just keep an eye on that. Great stuff though all around!
