Dimetryl is a unique product developed specifically to treat resistant strains of Trichomoniasis (Canker). Dimetridazole is extremely effective when administered at higher doses. At these high doses it is very toxic. Dimetryl contains the unique Aviomed additive knows as Antitox. Antitox is a blend of natural substances that reduces the toxic effect of Dimetridazole, supports the liver and stimulates the immune system. With the additive of Antitox, the dosage can safely be increased and the treatment time is reduced to three days.
Dosage is 5 grams per 5 liters of water for 3 days continuously. If the weather is hot and the birds are drinking more water, reduce the dosage to 5 grams per 8 liters. Use Dimetryl twice during the race season or when you are flying your birds. Dose early in the week and do not race or fly competitively within five days of using Dimetryl.
Contains: Dimetridazole 40% and Aviomed - Antitox 2%. In normal weather makes approximately 7 gallons.

Review of Dimetry+
Received the order in a timely manner and seems to be a good product but I was mainly using as a potential deterrent to infection from feral pigeons that have entered my loft this summer and brought some disease with them. Probably some of them, mostly young ones, were infected with Trich, but there were others that brought in a virus that is common this time of year and lethal. For those I can't help them as I can't vaccinate all them before they got infected because they weren't here then. But this product for treating Trich on a broad scale via the water supply is handy to cover as many as I can for that particular problem.
