All plastic construction means easy cleaning because stains do not sink in like a wood perch. The P.M. Perch is really two perches in one. Remove the two protection sides and you have a block perch similar to our #1040 with the sides slipped back on and you have a standard V perch. We have pictured it both ways. Screw the U clip to the wall and slip on the perch. There may be times where you have fewer birds and need fewer perches so it makes good sense to remove the unused perches. All you have to do is slip up the perch and leave the bracket. The perch projects out fro the wall 4 1/2 in. and is 11 1/4 in. from left to right. PM V Perch

Did not care for this product. In prior years we have used a white one piece perch with two keyhole slots for perch. These are mounted on a bracket which breaks easily if you accidentally screw too tight or stress it. The surface of the perch is very smooth. Most birds prefer to perch anywhere else. Racing Homers adapted to it quickly but the fancy pigeons are either sitting on the floor or found a wood ledge. I think they will all use them eventually but, honestly, the quality is not great. Thinking of gluing a strip of wood on the top to make it easier to grip and more comfortable.
