This handy unit is great for someone with a smaller loft. The trap when down, allows the birds to enter but can not go out. In the up position, they can come and go as they please. The landing perch becomes a varmint guard to block the opening in the up position. In the down position it is a landing perch when the birds return from a flight.

The perch is a wood frame with a heavy gauge mesh wire, which allows the droppings to fall through to the ground. The trap is wood frame with feather light hanging aluminum wires (bobs).

Available in two sizes:

  • Standard is 18" wide with 12" high trap
  • Large is a 24" wide with 12" in high trap

    the product looks good and sturdy. However, I have only just installed them in my new loft and so far have not introduced any birds to the loft so I really can't comment on how well it works, though it looks like it should do just fine.

    I'm very happy with the construction. It's not flimsy, but heavy duty so I know it will last a very long time.
