If you plan on racing your Racing Homers, you should band with AU bands.

AU stands for the American Racing Pigeon Union. AU bands are a different color each year.

These come in Racing Homer size only.

    I've been getting bands now and these seem nice quality and inexpensive. Most Pigeon websites require you buy 50 / 100 at a time. I keep few homers 10-15 and rotate my stock every other year, so allowing to buy a limited amount works for many pigeon flyers. Thank you. J
