PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Terramycin Ophthalmic Ointment contains Oxytetracycline HCl and Polymyxin B Sulfate. It is widely used by animal owners and caretakers as an eye ointment intended to support general eye comfort and cleanliness across multiple species, including cats, dogs, cattle, sheep, horses, birds, puppies, and kittens. The ointment is commonly included in multi‑species care kits for maintaining eye hygiene and for routine application around the eye area.
AVIAN & POULTRY USE
Bird owners—including pigeon fanciers and poultry keepers—often include Terramycin eye ointment in their care routines to help maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the eye area. It is frequently used on minor eye-area irritations, small scratches, abrasions, lesions (where Pox dry cannot applied) and general skin disruptions around the eye. Some bird owners also apply it to dry or rough patches on the skin near the eye or on minor head abrasions in flock situations. For birds, use should follow guidance from an avian professional.
APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Ensure the area around the eye is clean and free of debris.

Gently pull the lower eyelid downward.

Apply a thin strip of ointment along the inner surface of the lower eyelid.

Close the eyelid and lightly massage to help distribute the ointment.
Note: When using multiple eye products, apply eye drops first. Apply ointment last.
