Just what I needed
I was in need of a better bowl for grit to keep the birds from messing in it and to keep it dry. This is perfect.

Better than I even thought it would be!
I bought this not quite really accurately envisioning its size (if I don't have a tape measure in front of me visualizing accurate sizes is difficult) but I was quite pleasantly surprised by its size! Its a definite upgrade over the little crock bowl I had out for my birds - the roof (which is removable) protects the grit from their poop and any splatters from the rain that might get into the indoor part of my loft. The divider I removed immediately (I don't see a need for it, but it's a nice option to have) as I make a mix of grit and feel like if the divider was in there the farthest corner might not be reachable, considering I have the container against the wall somewhat. It's done a much better job of containing the grit from my flingy birds than my old bowl did, and not having to pick the poop out of it every other day is an awesome bonus. Great size, holes for the birds to stick their heads in are very well sized that even my birds who have never had to stick their heads into anything to get what they want were not hesitant to do so for their minerals. Good solid product!

Best grit feeder
My pigeons absolutely love this grit feeder. I put grit, activated charcoal and All in One in the divided sections. The birds found it right away and were trying to climb inside of it. They are able to sample each treat individually. It is the perfect size to keep dirt from the floor out.
