Trizole treats both Canker and Coccidiosis in pigeons. The combination of Secnidazole and Ronidazole means a single dose will have rapid but long lasting activity against Canker. Canker is com- monly spread via food and water by carrier birds and passed by the parents to the young. Young birds show classic symptoms such as growth in their throat or naval. Older birds show weight loss and weakness or poor flying performances. Coccidiosis is a common disease of pigeons. It is a parasite passed from one bird to another via dropping contamination of food or water. Coccidiosis is always worse during warm, wet conditions. Trizole tablets after feeding, at the rate of one tablet per pigeon, once only. Trizole will not cause infertility or reduced performance.
