A number of our products come from discussions with customers, making custom products for customers or in the case of this particular product, we saw it being used at a show and thought it an excellent idea and asked the fancier who created it, if we could add it to our product line. I am sorry to say I cannot remember his name, but he not only gave us permission to offer it, he gave us a sample to use.

Almost all of the cages at a show are the same size and are usually a four compartment show cage, so this is what the unit is made for. Our workshop makes these.

This Show Cage Platform Perch is 15.5" long x 1.75" front to back and .75" thick. It has a slot that holds a wire hook that sits in the slot. The hooks come out when you want to hook the unit inside the show cage.

The most important benefit to the Platform Perch is that during a show the bird can hop up on the perch and stay clean for the judging. Most shows no longer allow shavings so the cage floors do get nasty. Easy to install and no tools needed. We suggest painting the perch to keep it looking nice.
